Poem: The Savior’s love call

Come O suffering wayfarer
I Am the Bread of Life
To the wells of salvation draw nearer
And quit from wayward strife

Come and be relieved of your guilt-burden
No matter how dark your taints
Come and find rest from vain laboring
At the fountain that births saints

Relish my word which is vital bread
And take my cup for there’s life in my drink
Let my spirit with yours wed
And let this holy mergence permit no chink

I make with you an everlasting covenant
That through the ages will not falter;
You’ll be preserved – my redeemed remnant
When the earth is purged with Judgment and fire

Yes! Preserved un-spotted as a virgin bride
Heralding eternal redemption at my return;
I will down with the clouds ride
To bear you up – a jewel my crown to adorn
